Miracles in our day are real

I don't know if I told the story about my daughter's wedding. I was using two camera's due to a problem with one of my lens (I found that out later) anyway when I went to upload the images one of the cards failed and I lost 52 images which included the images taken with my wide angle lens. All of them were pretty much the group pictures taken just after the wedding. I finally paid and downloaded a program which was able to retrieve the raw files but they were corrupted in such a manner that they wouldn't open in photoshop. I tried several ways to fix them but never succeeded. I had found a program where I could see all of the bytes and bits of each 6 meg file and hoped that I could go in and change the files enough for photoshop to recognize them. Then I met a young man at BYU who was majoring in Computer Science and I asked him if he knew anyway to recover them. He found a program that was able to fix them and now they are just like new and I have been able to open them and color correct them. I am very thankful to a young man who had the ability to find what I needed to correct the problem. For my family here are some of those images.

This is the large group with both sides of the family.

This is the groom's family and friends.

Groom's immediate family.

Bride's family and friends.

Bride's grandparents.

Bride's immediate family.

Bride's sibling's families with parents.

Some of the Bride's aunts and uncles.

Of course out of all the weddings you do it would have to be Tia's that you have trouble with. I am so glad you were able to get them back.

I am glad it was hers since I had a little more forgiveness from her than I might from a client. However I didn't want it to happen but it is now good to know that if it happens again at least there is hope in recovering them.
