Several of these images are taken of a waterfall that only flows during the run-off season.
Later it is too dry to have any flow.
The stream in this image has pretty muddy water and even in a long exposure it appears brown.
In the following image a higher angle would show that this is from water flowing over a road in a local favorite camping area.
