While irrigating my yard,

we use flood irrigation, 

I decided to photograph things 

around the yard again.

Rifle Falls, Rifle Colorado October 2017

Rifle Falls in the fall.

We were about one week late for the full color 

but what we saw was still very pretty.

A set of three falls fed from small ponds on the flats

above the falls.

There were also fish in the stream below the falls.

And of course other wildlife.

A closeup of some of the old wood from a previous 

canal leading to the falls.

Cottonwood trees were very pretty.

Down the canyon from the falls I found these places as well.
