Nine Mile Canyon-Utah-Old Equipment

There are several old farms up the canyon.
They have a lot of old equipment that
I love to photograph.

Pole fences always caught my attention.
As a young 4-H Forestry student we used to
walk on one of these around a
 campground in Indian Canyon.

Broken Back Barn

Fire place. I don't know if there was
a building around it at one point.

There was probably a lot of hay hauled on this truck.

Hay cutter, I don't remember the
specific names for it but I grew up
using one on our tractor
(not exactly like this however.)

We called this a "sunshine spreader"
used to scatter manure onto a field.

Another pole fence. I wouldn't even
want to try and walk on this one.

An old combine machine.
We had one when I was growing up and we
had fun climbing from the back to the front
through the machine,
until wasps started to inhabit it and we couldn't.
