Alaska - Set 5 - Day 6 - Birds

Birds galore and I was glad see 

two bald eagles in the mix.

One on a nearby ship as we were leaving

and one later in the day.

 I didn't catch the reason from the captain

for all of the birds being in the 

one spot but it was pretty fascinating.

Another visit to Barr Lake near Denver Colorado

We visited Colorado and went to 

Barr Lake for a second time.

I had wanted to photograph the Bald Eagles 

the first time but didn't have time to get near them

 This time we hiked the approximately ten

mile path around the lake and got to see a lot of

wildlife.

I actually photographed these ants earlier while

waiting for the school bus with our granddaughter

then we went to the lake.

I din't realize this Eagle had a fish until I looked at 

the image on the computer.
