The moon and the sun during fire season

These were all taken while we had major smoke
in the valley from surrounding forest fires.

The moon just as it is coming over the horizon
around 9:00pm

The next morning around 5:00 am

The sun setting around 8:00 pm.

Totally Amazed

My trail camera is not a real expensive one and
usually after being triggered takes a few seconds
before it takes a picture.

So how did it get this image?
I cannot explain it.

Eclipse as seen from BYU campus in Provo Utah

Photograph just after it came over the
East mountains in the morning around 8 AM.

This is how fast it moved.
At a snails pace.
Seems days fly by faster than this.
(This snail was crossing the sidewalk as I left the
building to set up my camera for the eclipse)

Each of the following images were taken at
approximately 5 minute intervals.
I had to adjust the camera every few minutes and of course
since I couldn't look very long through the lens since
even with four filters it was still bright I didn't always
get it back to the same spot on the image.
Part of the proof there was no photoshopping.

Got a late start at 10:49 AM

The end at 12:59 PM

I returned to my home where I grew up
and took a few images from where I spent many hours
of my early years working, playing and being a boy.

My brothers animals that are really fun to see.
