This pheasant didn't fly when I kept trying to get closer to him, instead he just picked routes that would hide him from me easier.

An evening at the beach

We went to Padre Island near Corpus Christi, Tx and had a fun couple of hours at the beach. The water was warm, the wind was blowing and the insects couldn't fly. It was a lot of fun.

Photo Merge to capture the entire Building

I tried to get this in one shot but it was a bit too tall so I did a photo merge instead. This is across the street from the Alamo in San Antonio, Texas. With some extra effort I could remove the distortion on the edges of the building but I am out of time this morning.

9 Eagle Scouts and an Eagle

I had an opportunity to attend an Eagle Scout Court of Honor last Sunday. There were nine young men given the award. I was lucky to have been the New Scout Patrol Scoutmaster five years ago when several of them were new scouts. A live Eagle was brought in and a presentation about Eagles given. It was a very interesting event. Congratulations to these young men.
