011923-Provo River Trail-Great Horned Owl

A walk along the Provo/Jordan River Trail 

was quite fun thanka to a lady who

told us where to find a 

Great Horned Owl.

Plus a lot of other stuff to photograph'

There were two of them.

The sleeping owl

 

021823-ELK on the mountain

The elk were spread all over the mountain side.

Three of them wer almost halfway up the mountain.

We saw a few deer as we headed out to see the elk herd.

The elk were all through the hills.

Then they all came down to the power sub-station

a few at a time.

It was a pretty sunset

They passed by me in single file as 

they went past the station.

It didn't STOP
