Rifle Falls, Rifle Colorado October 2017
Rifle Falls in the fall.
We were about one week late for the full color
but what we saw was still very pretty.
A set of three falls fed from small ponds on the flats
above the falls.
There were also fish in the stream below the falls.
And of course other wildlife.
A closeup of some of the old wood from a previous
canal leading to the falls.
Cottonwood trees were very pretty.
Down the canyon from the falls I found these places as well.

Visitors leaving in the morning
I have had several deer coming in just about every night lately
and it has been fun seeing the pictures that are taken on my trail
camera as they leave the property.
Most of the time it is the doe and fawns that came
but this time was a tree point buck.

Ring video of two visitors early this morning
We had a couple of visitors this morning
to our front yard and even our front door.
