Replay of a few images.

So for some of you these will be a replay of images that you have recently received from me in my Good Morning emails. However for others they will be new so I decided to post them just for the fun of it. I love photography and have for years (some of these pictures have been taken as long ago as 1973 and as soon as this spring for others).

Easter Egg Hunt 09

I am a little late getting these posted since I have been working on several other photo shoots and not getting a lot of time to prepare images for the blog. Anyway here are some of the images from our Easter Egg hunts with the grandchildren. I know they didn't find them all since I found another one yesterday still sitting on the handle of the van. They had fun though and that was the important part.
Here is the youngest one of the group and the next image is the oldest one participating in the hunt. Brooklyn is 5 months old and Gabe will be 5 years old on May 30.

Then there are the two that are nearly the same age, one age 2 and the other soon to be two in another couple of months. They had a great time as well. Sam will be 2 on June 20 and Hallie turned two on March 14.

A Spring Hike

So we were invited to go on a hike tonight with our son's family. It was a very nice evening and a great time to walk. And of course I couldn't go on a hike without a camera to record the events. Events such as riding on dad's back, petting horses, throwing rocks into water puddles and then running with help from daddy and grandma.

Easter Beauties

It is such a wonder to me each spring to see the wonders of blossoms and new growth. Isn't it so wonderful to have such a special creator and Brother and this was only the creation part of what he has done for each of us. I love the Easter season and know that my Redeemer lives.

Lens problem discovered

I have recently been experiencing "Error 99" problems with my camera. Up until now I understood the problem to be caused by the shutter in the camera. However I recently was photographing for a dance studio just after having replaced the shutter and found that each time I switched to my smaller lens to do the group pictures I would experience the error 99 problems. I switched, after the second group set, to a second wide angle lens and experienced no problems the rest of the 3 hours of shooting that evening. So the next morning I put the problem lens back on the camera and shot 50 or more shots with no problems. So then on the way home from work I stopped and photographed this loading chute and in just a few short minutes experienced the error 99 again. It is an intermittent problem but for sure it is caused by the lens not the camera shutter. Of course the problem doesn't appear in the images since no image is even taken when it happens.

I have passed this chute a number of times and thought that I should stop and take some pictures of it but never did until I decided to see if the lens would still cause the error. What does it take for you to stop and photograph something interesting that you see everyday?

3 Exposures

I wanted to get the moon in more detail which cannot be had if you expose it to where you can see the sky and trees and hills. So I underexposed it and here are the results.

Here they are a little closer and it becomes obvious that the pictures are not sharp but they were taken handheld.

However I liked how the last one turned out even at a close-up view.

Set 3 Temple Wedding

Here is the last set of the images from my daughter's wedding.
