So the weather man said the storm was suppose to go "north of us" and if it did I feel sorry for those who are "north of us" this morning. Another one said "2-3 inches possible in the vallies" so I guess they continue to be as accurate as ever. See below. I estimated at least 8 inches while out taking these images this morning and it is still snowing now as I post these.
This is for my Texas grandchildren who want to have snow for Christmas. We hope it looks a little deeper than this but this will show them that we currently are getting some.
This is for all of the hunter's out there who are after their big bull. Although this isn't the biggest it was still mighty pretty. It walked across the road in front of my car late at night. I stopped pulled my camera to my eye and shot it. It walked away looking just as majestic and I got the shot. I must admit it wouldn't make it in a magazine because the only lighting was the headlights of my car and so it is really a bad picture but it is still a beautiful bull elk.
I am a photographer who would rather be out in nature than about anywhere else but life just doesn't always let that happen. So I take pictures where I go and most always will have a camera with me. Moral of the story is: There is Beauty All Around You, Take the time to see it.
