A bit of history removed, Provo Smoke Stacks

Now you see them

now you don't

Smoke stacks removed due to cost prohibitive to
making them earthquake safe

Escalante Petrified State Park Utah

The petrified wood is amazing
with all of the flint like rock and
beautiful colors.

Lots of wild flowers as well.
Even some not so petrified stumps are around.
You can barely see the lake
that is also near the petrified forest.

There is even a long part of a trunk from a fallen tree
laying on the surface of the ground.

Mossy Cave near Tropic

Only 4 tenths of a mile to the cave
but there is plenty to see in that short distance.

The canal, (using natural waterways when possible.)

The hills viewed on the way up the trail.

Mossy Cave

the canal waterfall

a root that followed the crevice in the rock
or created it.

Closer to the cave
