April 26, 2020 Sunday Visitor

We had an unexpected guest at the house today.
At about 2 PM, my wife and I were sitting and
relaxing in a swing seat out on our lawn.
My wife touched me lightly and pointed to the field
to the East of the yard to call my attention to a
young doe that was coming to lunch.
She looked longingly at the fence then turned away.
I think she just wanted an easier way into the yard
where she wouldn't have to jump.
So she walked into the ditch and
under the fence and into the yard.

She came past the pavilion, fire ring,
and sheds.

Then headed West across the grass volleyball area.

 Past the grandchildren's playhouse.

To the side of the lilac bushes.
She stopped to nibble on some quaken aspen leaves.
Then the lilacs.

 And as my wife said:
" I hope she leaves the little quaky alone."
She turned and saw the little tree
and headed straight for it.

As she nibbled on those leaves I got up and
walked over toward her.
She wasn't scared of me very much because she just
looked at me and then went back to the lilacs.

I continued to walk and got to the edge of the sand area
before I turned back. I video recorded her for just over
2 minutes before I went back to the swing seat.

She stayed another 3 to 4 minutes before she
wandered on over to the Neighbors yard.

Posting my Good Morning images for week 1 2020

Each morning I send out an email with an image to
 help brighten someones day.
I have decided to put these into my blog for the
sake of having them in one place for my history.
