A Special Teacher

Just thought that I would do a little fun today. This is a wonderful preschool teacher who's personality seemed to sneak out in this picture taken at a sister-in-law's wedding reception. But due to the background and distance from her when I shot the image I decided to do a little photoshopping.
Now when I start this process I never know what I really will end up with after I am done. Today was a simple add two layers, radial blur the second, and mask the third then crop it and flatten. Make another layer filled with black and another layer of the cropped image again in third place and add a black border to the second layer. Makes a big difference in the final image.

Rainy Day Tulips

I went to Logan Utah for a graduation exercise for utah State University. The graduates had a long walk outside to arrive at the event center where they were holding the exercises. After they had lined up it started to rain and then kept raining for a good part of the day. Every tulip in the valley was closed up and so I decided to take some pictures of them that would be totally different from the usual mid day tulip shots. I like how they turned out.
