From South Dakota Badlands to Nebraska and Colorado

I looked at a map on the computer last night at the motel
but we didn't have an actual detailed map for the
trip so by some small miracle we made it from
the Badlands to Denver Colorado without
having to back track or see sights we had already
seen the past two days.
It was at times a bit un-nerving but I just generally
kept heading South and West.
I loved the ride and scenery and the wildlife
we also saw along the way.

We passed a lot of windmills along
our journey and I really wish I could have
stopped and photographed each one.
Time and traffic did not permit it however but I
did get a few as we went through North West Nebraska
and into Wyoming.
We stayed in Wall South Dakota ant then the next morning
drove the 8 or so miles to the Badlands State Park.

I was amazed by the flat lands prior to the park and then
all  of a sudden the earth drops away into these
fantastic formations. It made me think back on Utah's
Bryce Canyon National Park.
