Marriott Center Renovation (Part 18) Images from Aug 15th and 17th, 2015

Working on the north facing screen after we had cleared the floor

and the put down tarps and boards again.

 This is the East facing board.

 Just a little size comparison, note the fellow working on the screen.

 This is the area where the ads will go and

other possible marketing things.

  The North facing screen after they got it working 

on Monday before Education Week started.

And so with only a few minor details in relation to the job size

the renovation is complete.

Marriott Center Renovation (Part 17) Images from Aug 11th, 2015

I used my phone to get the progress of the 

flooring as it was taken up.

There was a layer of 3/4" plywood, the 2" foam board, 

then our 3/4" pressed board and finally 2 tarps.

You can see the progress as each layer is taken up 

while they were still working on the scoreboard.

We had to have it all off, floor cleaned, baskets

installed and the scoreboard raised up before 2 PM

when the basketball team was coming in to practice

on the floor.

 There are a lot of 8" x 8" small panels in each of the

 4 large screen and in numerous other areas on 

the scoreboard. It took a lot of time to install each

of them individually.
