We came around a bend to a sudden traffic jam
going up the canyon ahead of us.
It was several minutes before we saw the
sheep to the side of the road.
I wanted to photograph them if I could but just then
a large truck apparently had had enough and felt
the sheep should leave so he punched on the pedal and made
a huge noise scaring the sheep into the wash.
I thought I wouldn't see them but pulled off the road
just after the area where they had been and hiked
back down the road about 50 yards, I then
spotted them down off the hill but not so far that
I couldn't get some pictures of them.
