Natural Bridges National Monument Part 5 Kachina Bridge trail

 This is where I discovered that the water flow
was just opposite of what I had thought. 
The debris around this tree trunk 
from one huge flood
gave me the clue I needed.

 This hole in the ground is similar to a local
waterfall area called "The Grotto"
I couldn't figure how the water would carve the hole
until I realized the water flow was just the opposite
of what I had originally thought.
It is a bit deceiving since the tour goes the 
opposite direction of the water flow.
