Memorial Markers at Navajo Bridge

I recently posted a blog about the Navajo Bridge. Well here is a little more of my visit to that bridge. I was surprised to see the memorial markers that were placed in the rest area about people who loved the Colorado River and spent years rafting on it.
T he following images are of the markers around the rest area starting with an image of the bridge again and the marker about the bridge. Then there are a few others that give a little history of the bridge and finally I have ended with several of the memorial markers. Should you ever have a chance to drive that way on Highway 89A it is well worth stopping and visiting.

This is the doorway leading down to the foundation on the north side of the bridge. A couple of pictures from the building of the bridge are on the door.

Here are the memorial markers.
