The Brides worst Nightmare_realized

It was the Brides worst nightmare coming true. Just when she was supposed to walk down to the awning by the river where nearly 50 guests were already waiting it started to rain. I was asked to go see what her plans might be and by the time I got to the house it was raining much harder. Then it really started to come down and the decision made to move it to the church. Here are a few of the images over the next 45 minutes. Oh just in case you might be wondering, yes this is the same bride that I photographed in the rain last week doing her bridal pictures outside near her home where the wedding was to take place.

The brides father (on the left, the tall one) coming up from the river through a river of falling water.

A guest puddle jumping his way to the car.

Just an idea of how much water fell, there was no puddle an hour earlier when I arrived.

The groom under the blue umbrella heading to the car to go to the church.

The bride (yes the one with the veil in her hair and the dress on her arm) headed to the car as well a few minutes later.

It will always be a wedding to remember.
