Some wildlife at BARR Lake, Commerce Colorado

We visited BARR Lake and I ended up wishing I had 

gone a lot earlier and stayed a lot longer.

We found a lot off fun wildlife but I am sure

 more was still there to be found.

 Bald Eagle (we saw two nests)

 Plenty of Blackbirds

 A fun little squirrel

 Canadian Geese

Other ducks

 A 5 foot snake, (I believe it was a Blow Snake)

 There were also several Cranes.

 Hawks and Eagles

 Mule Deer

 Rabbits

Springs coming

Spring is here but so are some of the remaining 

flowers from fall.

And the new is budding out.

Yes it is spring and the grass is turning green

and the flowers are out in full splendor.

I love this time of year when the flowers start to come out.

King of the Rock

As I awoke this morning and looked out y window 

I quickly decided to grab my camera

and capture these images of a Pheasant Rooster

standing on one of our rocks.

Then it was as though he were announcing 

that he was King of the Hill (rock).

Then only seconds later it was time to move on.

 and he hopped to the ground.

Find the pheasants

The deer were resting in the small backyard of our neighbor prior to the bus coming. 

I took a few pictures before and after the bus arrived.

Then noticed the pheasants, they are in a couple of the images.
